This week's tutorial is a super easy, beginner hairstyle! It can be a fun option for younger girls or a cute way to pull your hair back for sports....also great for when you don't have very much time for hair!
Instructions:
1. Start by parting your hair down the middle
2. Make four even ponytails on each side
3. Begin the bubble braid by combining the first section with the second on the same side
4. Combine that section with the next and so on
5. Do the same thing on the other side
6. Put elastics spaced evenly down the ponytail, pulling gently at each one as you go on
This week's hairstyle tutorial is a stacked pull through braid in honor of my meet tomorrow! It would be a great option for meet hair or any event that your hair must be pinned up for.
Instructions:
1. Section off a diagonal of mini ponytails
2. Split the bottom section in half
3. Then take one half and split it in two again
4. Pull the second pony through your two sections and tie it off with a new elastic on the third section
5. Continue this process until you reach the top section
6. Do a Dutch braid with the feathered out sections, starting at the bottom and ending at the top
7. Pancake each of the sections of the pull through braid on the bottom to accent the two different braids
It's was so hard for me to keep up with my weekly tutorials last year because of wifi problems. This year I hope I can update each Saturday, as originally planned...and improve my website each week.
For my first tutorial of the year, I'm excited to show you how to do one of my favorite braids: the zipper braid! It is such a fun and intricate hairstyle, that you can wear casually or as a fancy style. I tried doing zipper pigtails on my friend in this tutorial, and I think it turned out really cute!
Instructions:
1. Start by parting the hair down the center, and keep one pulled back in a ponytail
2. Take a section at the top, near the part line, and split it into three
3. Weave an outer piece over and under the other two
4. Clip that piece out of the way
5. Section off a new piece of hair to replace the one you just left out
6. Weave that one over and under the two sections
7. Again, clip that piece on the other side, out of the way
8. Take a new replacement section and weave it over and under
9. This time, clip it out of the way, but pull the other section under it
10. Place that section with the closest strand and pick up a new section to weave across like before
11. Continue these steps until you reach the bottom of the braid and tie off with an elastic
12. Repeat on the other side
13. Enjoy your new hairstyle!
